I am one of millions of football fans with a passion for the World Game. I played football and basketball since I was a kid, and always loved both sports (among others). I believe that football thrives beyond the English Premier League, Italian Serie A, French Ligue, Spanish Primera Liga, German Bundesliga, and countless Cups around the World. If I am not writing, you can find me in the field or the court kicking, juggling, dribbling, and kicking like there's no tomorrow.

If you have any questions or insights about my blogs, please do not hesitate to e-mail me.

The Coaching Philosophy

Like other sports, it is essential for coaches to be able to transform their clubs from a group of very talented individuals to a highly cohesive unit that makes greater use of talents. In order for coaches to achieve this, they need to have a strong coaching philosophy that will help their clubs in the long run. A strong coaching philosophy is achieved through the following principles:

First, coaches need to make the most of what they have. They need to identify the strenghts of the club. The team can now work from there, creating room for improvement. They will also be able to create better opportunities. Second, coaches need to emphasize hardwork, desire to win, and fun. He needs to encourage his club to play hard, play to win, and have fun all at the same time. Last and most important, coaches need to show vulnerable or humble leadership. They need to show that they also make mistakes, which inspires players and keeps them united.
