I am one of millions of football fans with a passion for the World Game. I played football and basketball since I was a kid, and always loved both sports (among others). I believe that football thrives beyond the English Premier League, Italian Serie A, French Ligue, Spanish Primera Liga, German Bundesliga, and countless Cups around the World. If I am not writing, you can find me in the field or the court kicking, juggling, dribbling, and kicking like there's no tomorrow.

Patrick Ewing

As a New York Knicks fan, there are certain players that you will always remember. These are the players who have done their best throughout their careers, and gave great performances. One of this players is Patrick Ewing.

Though Ewing has never won a championship with New York, he was always the heart of the New York Knicks offense and defense. He played most of his years with the New York Knicks as a center. He was also selected as one of the 50 Greatest Basketball Players of All Time. He was one of the premier centers in the NBA being an all star eleven times. His greatest games were against the Chicago Bulls in the 1992 Eastern Conference Semifinals. The Knick were trailing Chicago 3 games to 2 in the series, and it was in game 6 were Ewing scored 27 points though suffering from an ankle sprain.NBA Announcer Marv Albert referred to his performance as a Willis Reed performance, even though the Knicks were eliminated ultimately in the 7th game. Ewing truly has the heart of a champion.
