I am one of millions of football fans with a passion for the World Game. I played football and basketball since I was a kid, and always loved both sports (among others). I believe that football thrives beyond the English Premier League, Italian Serie A, French Ligue, Spanish Primera Liga, German Bundesliga, and countless Cups around the World. If I am not writing, you can find me in the field or the court kicking, juggling, dribbling, and kicking like there's no tomorrow.

The Big Fundamental

Tim Duncan has been one of the NBA’s greatest centers. This thundering 6 feet eleven inches power forward / center has a very basic style of play which greatly influenced the league. Also called the “Big Fundamental”, Tim Duncan is a very solid basketball player that won his team to four championships.

As soon as he joined the San Antonio Spurs, Tim Duncan has made a big impact on his team and in the league as well. He led the Spurs to 4 NBA Championships in 1999, 2003, 2005, and 2007. His brilliant leadership and outstanding consistency Tim Duncan has been a two-time Most Valuable Player. And has been voted to 11 NBA All-star games, All-NBA Teams and NBA All-Defensive Teams. He has been a great character also off the court. He has established the Tim Duncan Foundation, which aims to fund education and sports in different areas in the United States.

Tim Duncan will always be greatly admired not only in the NBA, but in the whole world as well.
