I am one of millions of football fans with a passion for the World Game. I played football and basketball since I was a kid, and always loved both sports (among others). I believe that football thrives beyond the English Premier League, Italian Serie A, French Ligue, Spanish Primera Liga, German Bundesliga, and countless Cups around the World. If I am not writing, you can find me in the field or the court kicking, juggling, dribbling, and kicking like there's no tomorrow.

Alessandro Del Piero

Alessandro del Piero is one of the greatest living football players in the world. He is named by Pele in the FIFA 100, which is a list of 125 greatest living football players.

Del Piero’s position is a supporting striker. He has a unique style of scoring and assisting goals in the field. Del Piero is also a very great free kicker and penalty taker. Alessandro del Piero has scored a total of around 257 goals since the beginning of his career in Juventus. He has become the club’s all-time leading scorer. He is also Italy’s fourth all-time leading scorer. One of his greatest memories was the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany. Alessandro del Piero and his team Azzuri have won the fourth title for Italy. He also earned the nickname Il Padrino, or Old Master.

Alessandro del Piero definitely is one of the world’s most creative and brilliant football players. As a matter of fact, this Italian is the multi-talented Bazilian Ronaldinho’s idol.
