Getting Physical - Back For The Hunt

I am one of millions of football fans with a passion for the World Game. I played football and basketball since I was a kid, and always loved both sports (among others). I believe that football thrives beyond the English Premier League, Italian Serie A, French Ligue, Spanish Primera Liga, German Bundesliga, and countless Cups around the World. If I am not writing, you can find me in the field or the court kicking, juggling, dribbling, and kicking like there's no tomorrow.

Back For The Hunt

San Antonio definitely remains a strong contender for this year’s NBA Championship. Aside from winnning the NBA Championship every other year in 5 seasons, the black and white force will be aiming for another bid for glory.

Here are the reasons why the San Antonio Spurs can win it again. The big three (Tony Parker, Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili) are still intact, execpt for some minor injuries that affected them this season. They have a strong supporting cast consisting of the defensive-oriented and three point shooter Bruce Bowen, hustle player Kurt Thomas, and outside shooter Michael Finley. They also have acquired valuable additions such as Drew Gooden. And they have a very experienced leader and coach in Greg Popovich.

Instead of being overlooked, the solid Spurs are definitely being watched out by most teams. Even the Boston Celtics, and Los Angeles Lakers. Anyone can still win the Championship, and the San Antonio Spurs are back in business.
