I am one of millions of football fans with a passion for the World Game. I played football and basketball since I was a kid, and always loved both sports (among others). I believe that football thrives beyond the English Premier League, Italian Serie A, French Ligue, Spanish Primera Liga, German Bundesliga, and countless Cups around the World. If I am not writing, you can find me in the field or the court kicking, juggling, dribbling, and kicking like there's no tomorrow.

The World Game

The popularity of football in the world still remains a mystery to most people. Unlike other sports which are easier to learn and play, football demands great stamina, skill and strength. Yet in my opinion, it is the life and spirit of the game that attract millions of people around the world.

If you are new to the sport, playing football requires a great deal of patience and hardwork. It requires patience since you need to use your feet to kick, pass, dribble, and control the ball where other sports require your hands to manipulate the ball. However, the real beauty of football is that it requires you to time, effort, and faith to score a goal. The benefits and rewards are even greater in winning.

Football is the world game because it is applicable to real life. No matter what culture or race, everyone is equal. If you have patience and hardwork in football, you will also achieve your goals in the field of life.
