Ronaldinho

Once of the greatest football players to ever graze the field is Ronaldo de Assis Moreira or popularly known as Ronaldinho. The Brazilian star actually started out as an amateur playing indoor football or futsal, and beach football. Ronaldinho suddenly rose to fame in the international football scene. Ronaldinho has won quite a number of football awards including the prestigious FIFA World Player of the year in 2004 and 2005, and the UEFA Champion’s League Award in 2006. Ronaldinho also won his country the Championship in the FIFA World Cup 2002 Tournament held in Japan and South Korea.
At such a young age, Ronaldinho has attained outstanding success. He was considered the top fifth wealthiest athletes in the 2008 edition of Sports Illustrated magazine, valued at $37.5 million which consisted of his earnings, appearances, and endorsements. Ronaldinho currently plays in the Italian Serie A for AC Milan, and is hailed to be the next “Ronaldo”. For this young Brazilian, the future remains very bright.
